A different way to network

There are no membership dues in FreeNet. By getting to know each other, we can support each other in our business endeavors.

No one is excluded from attending FreeNet events. We view healthy competition as a way to grow personally and professionally.

Responsible Networking

It is each participant's responsibility to furnish information to the group about what they do, what they need, and what they can offer others. We ask that you please bring copies of your bio to distribute at each meeting.

FreeNet coordinators will provide attendees with a list of participants. To be included on this list, you must Contact Us to add you. Please RSVP 1 week prior to each meeting. If for some reason you are not able to attend, we ask that you notify us immediately. No calls, no shows, may be banned from future lists.

Become part of a bigger network

FreeNet offers low-cost options for posting information about your company on the FreeNet website. Reach more people by purchasing a FreeNet mini-page or by linking from our FreeNet website.

FreeNet History

FreeNet started when a small group of us came together with an idea for a self-directed group that would attract high-quality business professionals without adding another membership fee to our expense reports.

Angella Luyk of Mindnight Janitorial, Emily Carpenter of WhizBang! Web Solutions, and Joel, "The Doc," Craddock of Clean-Rite Floor Care had their first meeting in July 2006. With 15 people at that first meeting, we've had as many as 38 people in attendance at any given meeting. The three of us work hard to facilitate a group that grows according to participants' needs.

FreeNet will be celbrating ONE YEAR in July 2007 with a picnic for all FreeNet participants and their families. See details on the Calendar page.
